The Holy Bible - Luke Chapter 15 (King James Version)

1 comment:

  1. The prayer that Jesus taught us has a conditioned to be fulfilled and there is a condition (the one praying) that he offered to God. In his teaching, it is emphatic, when he said,:"forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sins against us.
Remember that the sentence "forgive us our sins" comes not from God, but a supplication,or a request from the person praying. Remember that here, the one praying acknowledges to the Lord that he has committed a sins. To be forgiven he attached a condition to the Lord he will forgive those who sinned against him, if God our Lord, will forgive his sins.
The one praying here is the one setting a condition to God, so that He will be forgiven. But even if God was the one teaching his follower, the manner on how his disciples will pray to the Father. But if youwill read GOD;S CONDITION LAID DOWN IN MATTHEW CHAPTER 5, VERSES 23 TO 24, THESE ARE HIS WORDS" " So if you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother and then come back and offer your gift to God."
